I've lived here for over a year, and currently am a tenant, I used to love it here but now i'm dying to get out of my lease because my neighbors. I've complained MULTIPLE TIMES about the noise, may i remind you, i have been here for over a year and i have NEVER had a problem with noise before, so i figured if i mentioned it to the landlord they would take care of it right away. WRONG, they kept telling me that they would notify my neighbors about their noise levels, and nothing happened. If anything the noise got worse. I'm a very tolerant person and i do not exaggerate when i say these people are HORRIBLE! Finally the last time i complained they sent out a letter, due to the fact that i confronted the property manager firsthand, apparently my complaint form was filed but nothing was done period..hmm, so much for taking care of the problem asap. I'm confused as to whether my previous neighbors were tip-toeing around to be courteous because i didn't hear a thing, or whether the construction is fine and my current neighbors are just disrespectful.

Another thing, I DO NOT agree with the trash compactor thing that they have implemented, i was so upset about it as i'm pregnant and my husband is deployed, and i live all the way in the back of the complex, so i would have to put the smelly trash in my new car and waste my gas to drive it to the front, but it is from my understanding that the town of spring lake is charging the apartments 50,000 or so if they don't comply with the compactor rules. So instead of raising the rent to cover the charges they just got the compactor. Thats nice and what not, but what about those of us who have pets' I am not going to bag up my dog's crap and bring it back home and put it in my kitchen trash, thats disgusting, so its either walk it all the way to the compactor, or drive it, which is ridiculous, or deal with the smell of dog crap in my house. They have a ridiculously high pet fee and security deposit, you'd think they would have the decency to have pet stations so we wouldn't have to walk the dog crap all the way to the compactor. Thats probably why you see dog crap all over the grounds, because not everyone is willing to go and walk that far just to throw a small bag away. I'm proud to say i have complied with all the trash rules and what not, but i can't stand it. When my belly gets bigger i can't keep doing this, especially since summer is around the corner and i'm not supposed to be out in the heat for extended periods of time.


There is only one woman in the office that goes out of her way to help accomodate me, since i can't say her name, it starts with a P and she has a wonderful bunch of kids. I know if she was the one to file my complaints it would have been taken care of ASAP, but the day i brought the form in she was off, when i came to live here she stayed in the office for an extra hour and a half just to make sure that me and my husband were situated, she's very up front and honest, and she remembers me by name everytime i come in to pay my rent without me having to say a thing. If it were up to me i would have her be the property manager and then i'm sure these grounds would be much more suitable to live in.
