Excellent choice

We would like to give our highest recommendation for both the property and the management. We have lived in several apartment complexes prior to this and have never been more pleased with the efficient and excellent service provided by every staff member from the office to the maintenance crew. The screened in porch overlooking the lake and lovely lighted fountain surrounded by tall pine trees provided a restful oasis and was a highlight for us! The large square footage, storage closets, wide doorways, huge walk-in closets and overhead lighting are rare in apartments. We truly felt at home here, and the amenities simply added to our comfort from the well maintained pool and clubhouse, to the available movies and DVD player, and even parties and yardsales organized for residents. We also appreciated the low cost for cable and the availability of DSL. It is also a great perk that pets are allowed and we never heard any dogs though we saw many being walked. The manager has maintained a level of living that we have never seen before in rental properties. We considered dozens of other communities before choosing Caveness Farms and were privileged to live here. It is quiet and restful and we have had very nice neighbors. Our child has loved riding bikes on the sidewalks and the playground has been well maintained. All of the property has continually been improved. The landscaping crew are at work nearly every day keeping the grounds beautiful. The staff is available to do whatever is needed at any time no matter how small a request, and their first concern is the residents' happiness and keeping the community up to its high standards. Those who assisted us in small maintenance tasks as needed were never too busy to change a lightbulb that was hard to reach or to come the very day requested. Living here is a quality experience and a good value. As to another reviewer's comment about snakes, though small lizards and toads abound near a lake, the weather stripping on the doors keeps them in the great outdoors where they belong.
