I have lived at Caveness for a year and a half. It is a very quiet place which is wonderful as a teacher. I can get to bed at a good time and not be awoken by wild teen parties. Since I have lived here, there have been improvements to the trail. Instead of rock it is now asphalted. I love walking my dogs around the mini lake and feeding the ducks. Say hello to Oscar...the duck whose wing is broken and stays year round.

It seems like a wonderful place for families with young children as well. There is a small playground and a basketball court. The pool is huge and children must have an adult present therefor you don't get rough and tumble teens ruining it for the toddlers. Everyone seems respectful of one another. I have noticed a few families BarbQ-ing on the sun deck.

My rent has increased dramatically while living here but it is a growing area. Next to the apartments is a new strip mall. Right now there are three restaurants (Chili's, Red Robin, and Texas Roadhouse) so the traffic and noise hasn't affected the community yet. I hope it never does as the mall keeps building up.

I love the open layout of the floorplan. It makes the area seem so much bigger. There aren't any fireplaces but I don't mind. The openess and windows help make up for it. One note though, the carpet is very cheap and light colored so stains seem to set in quickly and are stubborn to remove. I like the cable/internet package they have. For $50 a month I get basic cable and internet service. What a deal! Other places would be about $80'

My only complaint is with maintenance. I have never had an emergency situation but I have had a broken disposal and mailbox. It has taken them at least a week to look at it, let alone order parts.
