I lived in Abbott's Run for about a year while I was in college. I never had any major problems. Personally, I liked having just the shower and no tub because it gave the bathroom much more floorspace. Noise was minimal for me. The only noise issue I ever had was not even Abbott's Run's fault. My one bedroom unit was located in one of the buildings that backed up toward the other apartment complex on the same street. I don't know the name of that place, but the people who lived in those apartments were very noisy sometimes. They would have parties regularly, and although I really don't care if people are partying on a Fri. or Sat. night, these people were extremely loud. I sleep with the t.v. on and I could still hear them...and they weren't even in the same building! So my advice to anyone thinking of moving in here would be to drive by the building you're planning to stay in at around midnight on a Fri. or Sat. night. See if people are partying loudly nearby. As for safety, I felt safe there and I was a single girl living alone at the time.

Everything else was good at Abbott's Run in my experience. Staff was helpful. They even let me out of my lease a month early when I moved because of special circumstances - even though they didn't have to. The places are pretty small, but for a college student or young single person with not a lot of furniture, it's not bad. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
