I have been living at Abbotts Run since June of this year and I have been so happy with my stay here. I am living in one of the new furnished apartments and my parents only have to pay one check each month to cover all of the bills. The office staff has been amazing and matched me with a roommate within 2 weeks of me asking for one. Now we are great friends and I can't imagine living with anyone else. We are both on separate leases, which is cool because my parents don't have to worry about covering anyones bills except mine.

Being right out of high school, my parents were worried about me living off campus, (I couldn't live on campus because of the major housing issue they have there- I didn't want to live in a small dorm room with 2 other girls!) but as soon as they took a tour of Abbotts Run and met the office staff, they knew I would be in great hands and didn't have anything to worry about! When we were moving in, they even got to meet some of my neighbors (who are very nice) and that made them feel even more secure to see how friendly the community was.

There are events each month that encourage everyone to get out and meet their neighbors and have fun doing it. Most recently, they had a halloween party with free pizza, snacks, candy, prizes and we all watched a movie and socialized. It was lots of fun! I've been to every event since I've lived here and they are always so fun and different! They've had pool parties, karaoke night, food and drinks for free at old chicago restaurant, and the halloween party!

I can't express my thanks to Abbotts Run Apartments enough! I recommend this place to EVERYONE!
