I just found this site today, it has been awhile since I lived in an apartment, but I did stay in Antigua for a few months back in 2000.
I did not mind where it was located.
However I moved in when the places were under construction.
They promised me that they were being selective as to who they were renting too.
I was getting out of a divorce and had a small child and did not want to be surrounded by drunken college students.
Well, that is exactly what moved in on top of and to the side of me.
It was HORRIBLE.
Nothing was ever done about it.
Renters would leave their garbage out next to their doors, loud parties, police being called, etc.
You could hear everything through the walls and being on the bottom floor you could hear (and feel) the people pass out.
There was no seal around the dishwasher at all, in fact there wasnt one around the sink either.
The place was way too small and I had a 2 bedroom 2 bath.
Because of their broken promises I moved but had to bay $900 to break my lease, and then they tried to nickel and dime me after that.
It was horrible!
