You get there and think, "Oh great, a place that is not brand new so I will feel more comfortable." Come to find out, it's a shoddy set of apartments that needs a LOT of repairs and they are just too cheap to do them. I lived there for a year and a half, and this is just a few things that i had to deal with: first week: apartment was NOT cleaned, and the carpet was absolutely filthy, i would not walk on it with bare feet, i asked to have it cleaned, and NOTHING happened; i started getting sick, lymph nodes swollen and sore, couldn't get out of bed, etc, i ask my roommate (who had been living there for two years) and she said the air filter hadn't been changed since she got there!! I pull the filter out, and there is MOLD growing IN the filter, and falling out of it as i am bringing it to the dumpster! So, i change it, and three days later I can finally function! My mother finally came to visit a few weeks later and cleaned the carpet for me (thanks). Then i discovered that the trash trucks from the shopping complex RIGHT out my window came in noisily at all hours of the night, and the delivery trucks usually came in about 6 am waking me up constantly. A few months later, our dishwasher breaks (it was probably installed when the complex was first put up), it takes them two days to come look at it, and another TWO weeks for a new one to come in! My boyfriend moves in with me and we get a puppy, we know we are leaving soon so i don't pay the deposit, i get a letter saying i have to or the dog has to go, so i give in and pay the $300 NONREFUNDABLE pet deposit, and they tack on $25 extra a month for "maintenance" of the yard (which was already COVERED in pet ---- and was NEVER cleaned), speaking of ----, my toilet constantly got clogged for no reason and it was highly embarrassing to have to go in all the time (b/c the online request NEVER works) and ask to have my toilet fixed, so one day it won't work and come to find out the whole building is clogged... guess who's apartment is RIGHT next to the main access line.... for THREE, i repeat, THREE days, i had human refuse sitting outside my back door, and called twice a day every day about it. THREE FREAKING DAYS that i had toilet paper, and human ----, and STINK sitting outside my door and baking in the sun... so we finally get that cleaned out, and they have the whole complex pressure washed (in the worst of the drought), and they wash my front door... and i had to wash my entrance to the apartment because all the water that was in there pushed through the door along with all the dirt and leaves, etc that they were cleaning off. A few weeks later, we get this notice that lease renewal is coming up, and the rent is going up again for the second time in two years! So, clearly I am not renewing, and I am constantly looking for a new place to live because we want a place for our puppy to run and not step in other dog's ----, and not be scared that another dog will come over and attack him because NOBODY keeps their dogs on leashes (I actually had a neighbor's little yip yip ankle biter ---- dog come INTO my apartment!!) and we have a wonderful pit bull, and so of course if another dog came and attacked him and ours beat the ---- out of them, it would have been our dog's fault just because he is a pit, but that's another argument. so, we finally find a wonderful house, and come to find out, you are responsible for finding another person to take your apartment until the end of your lease term, or you are responsible for those month's rent, this is in the lease, on the 105th page in a tiny paragraph that they don't even try to make you aware of. So, we get out of there, and i tell them that the apartment will be ready to clean on a Tuesday, and I start advertising for someone, the next month comes around and someone wants to look at the place, I get there, and IT IS STILL NOT CLEANED! not even swept! not one BIT! I flew off the handle, and the next week i drove by and it was ---- and span. so, all in all, there is still nobody living there, I haven't paid rent since feb. and they can kiss my ass. So, if you're interested in living there, you have to pay a $300 administration fee for anyone over 18, that is nonrefundable, but there is no security deposit!!! (they just charge you and you have to pay out of pocket; an example: our dog (being a puppy) screwed up our blinds on the front door, and i had every intention of replacing them, i ask the office how much they would charge if they had to fix them, and they said it's usually $35, yes THIRTY FIVE dollars for a set of $5 blinds, so i brought my happy ass to Big Lots and got some for $5 and they were BETTER than the ones that were in there already!) You have to pay their outrageous price for rent, and put up with the shopping complex business noise, the thin walls and ceilings, the dog ---- in the yard, and the sad excuses for grills that they put outside. And it is a $300 pet fee for each pet you have, again nonrefundable, and then you have to pay the extra $25 a month on top of the outrageous rent price (that is going up again in August). But, it's a great location and you can walk to the grocery store, but don't walk up there at night, and don't breathe in the fumes from the grease coming from the mexican restaurant (which is a delicious place to eat if you can afford it after living at brookstone). So, I hope i helped someone, i know it made me feel better to let it out and warn people of what they might get into. The staff is always friendly, and the maint. staff is great fun (one of my good friends works for them), but they are just that, nothing else, not helpful, not speedy, and not aware of their residents. Thank you for reading, and i hope you have a wonderful day! :)

It's funny because I have been out of this apartment complex for about 2 years now, but wanted to check back and see if anything changed. Nothing has changed. Let it be stated for the record that what I went through was almost exactly this case, minus the dog issue and added to, a number of flood related issues that responsibility was never taken for.
