This apartment complex is HIGHLY over-rated. It is DEFINITELY not a gated community. The gates never work, and then when you ask about it every office person tells you a different story. The office staff is a group of paid liars. They will say whatever they need to in order to get you off the phones, and then when you follow up no one seems to know what you are talking about. The dryer we rented didn't work due to a blocked air vent that they said they fixed, but did not because when the repair man from the actual company came out he saw that was the problem immediately. They tried to tell us our dryer did not work because of the excess humidity in Wilmington. Ummm, no. They upped the rent because of the remodels to other apartments, ours was not one of them though, why should we be paying more for something we do not get to utilize''' It is the worst place I have ever lived in, and I would not recommend it to anyone. If you want headaches and hassles go right ahead! And per another post, YES the toilets will back up constantly without any reason. Also, when it gets warm out you cannot go on your balcony after dark due to the HUGE roach problem.
