The Cape Harbor staff terrible. The apartment I live in has had so many problems from the day I moved in and these problems were not fixed for over 2 months after I moved in. The maintance staff does not know what they are doing. They can not fix anything properly. The AC did not work for 2 weeks. I have had several other problems that according to the staff have been fixed, but have not. When I signed the lease I was told that I would be living in a new remodeled apartment, but when I moved in on a Sunday morning I found that it was a dump. I had movers waiting and I was paying them by the hour, so I had to move in with no where else to go. The staff was either fired or replace the week after I moved in and they said some of my paper work was lost on what had to be repaired, which is why it took over 2 months to get anything done.
The staff does not care about the tenants. They are slum lords who are just out for their money. The trash builds up at the dumpsters every week and overflows onto the street. Stray cats are everywhere. And there are bug problems, wasps, roaches that the staff does nothing to take care of. I asked to be released from my lease because of all the problems and the United Dominion staff at the regional office told me I could not break my lease with out a penalty. DO NOT RENT HERE. I would not recommend my worst enemy to live in this place.

Ok, Please read this as I'm a current resident & my experiences are ongoing as I write this. First , the negative posts are unfortunetly true. Once the regional mngr left this property ( Cheri) it went square to hell. Dealing with the office is so painful I just avoid it .( Standing there like a needy child till someone pokes a head out of the office & acts like YOU are putting them out. With that , my move in repair requests were never completed, extras like the computer access you pay for is NOT provided ,( pc's were STOLEN a while back, great place, huh? ). The grounds- here is where this place almost shines - most of the budget seems to be for grounds work. "But" -- beware of the dog ----! What else? -The rear property floods out & drivers must park elsewhere & walk , nice huh? The office says flooding not their fault. Q:Do you like Ho-Bos? Great then cause Cape Harbor has one living between here & the gas station next door. ( He hasn't hurt anyone but has tried to make contact with the school kids here. What else? Well the drunken after hours pool parties, skinny dipping, people pissing in bushes, etc. Good thing we "sometimes have a security gate " but since people have found ways around even that you can expect to see the cops in here poping bad guys from time to time. Oh, when your lease ends & you go month to month expect an increase of over $200 pr mnth. Summary - way overated for what you pay - go to Coloniel Park for HALF the cost and ALL the crap you can expect here at CH.
