i agree with what has been said...the staff is friendly while showing you the place and up til you sign the lease....
but after that...your on your own! They are not concerned with all the roaches that have come out to greet you when you have unpacked.
2 weeks is all i could take.....

I just moved there and also have roach problems. I want out of my lease. Did you get out of yours what did you do? any advice for me???

good luck. i had a friend who lived there once. a man who lived across the hall from her broke into her apartment and held a pocketknife to her friend's throat, stole $13, grabbed her spare key, and left. they wouldn't let her out of her lease! because he knew where she lived and had her spare key, they let her transfer to another unit (AFTER THREE WEEKS OF WAITING). and when she moved into the new apartment, the neighbors greeted her with this, "hi, welcome to the neighborhood. just so you know, the marine who lives in the apartment across the hall from you got attacked by 5 guys with knives when he was walking his dog last night..."
if you decide to live (or even visit a friend who is living) at the berkshires, grab some pepper spray or a taser.. you're gonna need it!
