My two roomies and I moved into the Chase Mooring apartments in August of 2001. We were just starting college, and had decided at the last minute to live off campus. We shopped around and found these apartments. They seemed nice on the internet, and the office staff seemed really nice, so we visited them, and we liked them! It was a good deal for the price! After we moved, it was great! It was cheap, but they were nice (or the apartment we had was nice!) The office staff and maintenance staff took care of us like we were there own! We were really going to stay there at least one more year, but the only thing that run us away was the other tenants. That was our only problem with Chase Mooring. The tenants were druggies, and it was only getting worse by the end of the school year. I honestly walked through a cloud of pot smoke to get in my apartment one night! I am from a little town, and I didnt like this situation! We were really sad to leave, but we feared for our lives! Everyone says that they got broken into, but my other 2 roomates or I never had that problem! THe other tenants werent mean, they just liked to party, and the cops never did anything about it! Another problem was the parking. There wasnt much parking, so if you got home late, there was no where to park, except illegally! The other tenants (some which had way too many people LIVING there) would take up all the spaces when they would have a party! We really didnt like this, but we managed! Where we are living now is very nice and we still have a little problem with parking! THe only way to elliminate that problem is to have assigned parking spots, and I like this idea! If you need somewhere to live, but cant afford an expensive apartment, I recomend these! We really liked them, and I miss them! Like I said, the office people were great, and the maintenance were always right there to help us!
