Just say no.

Being a college student with limited resources, I know that beggars cannot be choosers. However, if you have any sense at all, choose another apartment complex in Wilmington before you choose Clear Run.
The most attention I ever received from Clear Run's "attentive and helpful" staff was the pushiness, overattention, and pressure to actually sign a lease to get in at a lower cost -- when really, they were just trying to meet a quota for that summer.
After that, unless I was yelling or crying, the staff was unattentive, unhelpful, and just plain unfriendly. No one should have to live somewhere where your water is shut off for days at a time with no explanation. No one should have to pay to live in this "middle class ghetto" without air conditioning for 2 weeks in the middle of a North Carolina summer, after repeatedly putting in maintenance requests to have it fixed.
I will say that the convenience of the university being just a five minute walk away was nice. But, there are other complexes around this area that have much better facilities, a more helpful staff, and a safer environment.
My advice: just say no.
