...Upon arrival in Nov. of 2005 we thought we were getting a great deal...2 bed/2 bath for $625 in a renovated unit in the first phase. After a couple of weeks the pipe busted in the ceiling of my roommates bathroom and took over a week to fix...A couple of months later there was another water leak in the master bedroom closet...What a nightmare...It took about a month to fix properly...The first time it was "fixed" and after they had to dry everything by pulling up carpet, having people in and out for a month, having open holes in the walls, it happened again and it was back to square one again...It was a very stressful time getting the problem resolved...They ended up having to move us to a new apartment for a reduced price but not before one of the staff was rude to my girlfriend about the situation, completely unempathetic...The noise at night sucks, fireworks and loud parties are an everyday occurance...Someone actually hit my car in the parking lot because parking was so tight in phase 2 and just left it there all smashed up without leaving a note or anything at all...People trash the grounds and people let their children paint on the concrete and leave things outside without picking up after them...At one point someone actually tossed an old couch into the pond...It makes me sick to see things like this and the way people disrespect themselves and their own community...But that's a whole different story...If you like the beach it is really close to Wrightsville Beach and if you're a student you can walk to class...
