Do not rent from here, unless you like being kicked out!

I have lived here for almost 2 years and I have had 1 warning and 1 eviction notice. Your supposed to get 2 warnings.

First warning was bogus when I kept a student awake at 7pm on a weekend "night." Supposably she called the police on me which I never did see or hear them.

The eviction (that they did not follow thru with) said for me to be moved out in 7 days or less or they will take me to court. (State law says we have 30 days to move out) The reason the eviction was given to me was for doing routine maintenance on my car in the parking lot and having a "messy apartment." Now I ask you this, without a 24 hour written notice ever being given to me, how would they know whether my apartment is messy or not' When I first signed the lease when I first moved in here, the assist. manager Angie said it was 100% fine for me to work on my car in the parking lot. Which is the main reason I chose to live here due to the fact that working on cars is a big hobby of mine. Does this make sense to you' Didn't think so.

I am missing 1 $700 digital camera from my apt, and 3 block buster movies. I always lock my doors and I do not know anyone who would steal from me. I highly believe it was one of their employees who decided to come check on my apartment to make sure I kept it up to "their standards."

Also when it comes to repairs, I have had to only call them maybe 4 times ever in the 2 years to repair something. First time they rigged it together to work. 2nd they got it to work. 3rd was a leaky sink, 4th was the A/C. The 4th time I got them to repair something they charged me $75. Now what is the point in renting an apartment if they are going to charge you for repairs' These people make no sense. Being the nice guy I am, I paid it without question, while taking it up the butt by management.

After they started remodeling this place I've seen over 6 people kicked out for reasons that I know judges would laugh at.

1) Being too loud, when the people that got kicked out for it were NEVER close to loud. Which forced them to move back to NJ.
2) A couple that had just moved in their first month and was kicked out for having their dog off a leash. Now my neighbor beside me constantly lets her dog outside to run around as much as he pleases and constantly ---- in front of my porch but shes been here almost as long as me and not been kicked out yet. Does that make sense, NOPE.
3) A friend of mine was kicked out for being 1 day late on his rent. We are entitled to 5 days, with an extremely high late fee after the 3rd day.

Please note that these harmless people were being kicked out while across from me on the 2nd and 3rd floor there were drug dealers constantly dealing out of their apartments.

When I wanted my girlfriend to move in with me they rejected her application due to her credit, yet I pay the bills and make rent by myself so why should her credit matter' So I walked up to the office to talk to Angie and her manager about it and when I asked why she couldn't move in the manager replied with "Well, how much longer are you staying here'" and I replied with "What does that matter' Are you not going to let me resign my lease" and she replies with "No" and looks at my file and goes "Well since your only living here for 3 more months I suppose she can move in."

What kind of -------- is that' Shes lucky she said yes or I would have had fun in court with that. These people need to quit their jobs and go back to school. The only reason these people are the "managers" are because they are all family together. Angie is sister to the manager, the manager is daughter to the owner, or some way some how in family with each other. I do not remember the exact family tree, but they are all family. Even the maintenance guys that work for them. A true management company wouldn't consist 100% of their own family.

Find some other place to live if you have a life or any hobbies as these people are crazy and will kick you out for ANYTHING. I have been 1 day late ONE time ever in the past 2 years and they constantly ---- with me. They would rather have renters with no lives who never make a peep and they never have to see than someone who has got a life and pays his rent on time without question.

I lived at College Green for nine months. I never had a problem with noise nor did I ever receive warnings from the staff, but I do know that things were stolen from me too. Several DVDs were stolen from me. I had a very small number of people come over because I was always going to where my friends lived. I always locked my door, even when going to change a load of clothes from the washer to the dryer. It obviously had to be someone with keys. Now that someone else has described similar circumstances, I am definitely convinced that it was someone on staff.

I currently live at College Green and feel the same way. The management are really shady. After cleaning my apartment before leaving for vacation, I came back and found things out of place (and trash in the can after I had just taken it all out before leaving!). Luckily I haven't noticed anything stolen.
Do not live here. I can't wait until my lease is up!

I couldn't agree more. I lived in the College Green (now called Village Green) for three years. Management is shady and always seems to be doped up on prescription meds (but a new manager, Pam, seems pretty competent). Horribly unorganized office procedures (to name one, Angie held a package of mine for over a month before she "got around" to calling me about it) and drug dealers/ prostitutes being left alone while others are served eviction notices characterize the complex. Oh yeah, and I also became convinced that someone was in my apartment when I was out of town (i.e. trash in trash can that I know was completely empty because it was the very last thing I did before I left, my curtains were tied into a bow? etc.). I never mentioned this to anyone because it sounds paranoid but now that I have read the two reviews above.... well.... that's just odd!
