We moved from out of state and did not see the apartment prior to moving in. Upon arrival we discovered carpet with various stains and cigerette burns. They did replace the carpet, but they asked us not to unload our truck, even thought the truck was due back, and the carpet layers broke my lamp.
We also have neighbors who live as though they live in a house in the country. They use tools on the patio, play music loud enough to rattle the pictures on the wall and have had numerous parties. They have a bird they leave on the patio all weekend that squawks non-stop. I wrote a letter to management regarding the neighbor in what I thought would be in confidence and they told them. So now there is a bad vibe going on there.
Our breezeway is always littered with food, and other garbage and it is never cleaned unless someone requests it.
When we used our fireplace, our apartment became filled with smoke and we were told by the maintenance that top floor fireplaces are decorative only.
That would have made a difference to know.
We are eager to move and even though our neighbors are as difficult as ever we know that requesting help from the property management is useless, so we are just waiting it out mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
