My husband, daughter, and I currently live in a 2br/2bath apartment on the 1st floor. The rent is not that bad compared to other apartments in the area for the size. We live in a building that is not in a "busy section" of the complex, so noise is not an issue where we are located. There are many tenants who have dogs, and they do not pick up after them, so the grass is full of dog crap. The walls are real thin. We can hear the footsteps of the people who live above us. Living on the first floor is not a plus, if you think you can walk to the door of a normal first floor apartment. You have to walk up the stairs of the building to just walk down the stairs to go to your apartment. If you visit the complex, you'll understand what I mean... also, check out the pictures on their website. Also, if you're handicapped or are unable to walk up the stairs, this isn't the complex for you. The office is located on the 2nd floor, and they do not have an elevator, just stairs. Oh, and about the office girls, they're never there on the weekend even though they have hours. Don't expect to get anything done then. Maintenance guys are great... They come right away. Lastly, don't live on the first floor if you hate bugs. We constantly have creepy crawlies coming in.
