Basically reiterating what most of the people here have already said - this place is bad news. Shortly after I moved out a lady was murdered there (6/19/2007). Guess I got out just in time.

The apartments are badly constructed. Even the renovated ones are done poorly. A lack of baseboards leaves plenty of rooms for the roaches to escape and hide (we'll get to the roaches in a minute).

The overall atmosphere of this place is pretty dismal. It's hard to get a sense of it when you move in, but there are a lot of sketchy people around. They make lots of noise at night screaming at each other, reving their cars, etc. The areas of the lawn that do have green grass usually have dog poop.

The machines in the weight room are either pooly maintained or just straight up broken. It seems there were always two or three washing machines broken at any given time. The ones that were working are almost always in use.

The roaches came and said hi from day #1. If you complain about them, the managagement is pretty good about spraying (they have pest control there every single week because it's such a problem). After they spray you're good for a week or two. They'll be back though.

Best of all, after I moved out I got hit with about $150 in cleaning charges (that's after factoring in my deposit).

This place is a total and complete rip off. Oh and it also smells bad.
