The only reason my friend and I moved in here was because the idiot at the leasing office told us the wrong rent (in our favor) and that the one opening up was a top-floor apartment. But that continued. They keep telling us conflicting things at the office and we're so confused. The manager blamed one girl for being new and that girl has been here since before we moved in, so hopefully she should have learned something. Or they blame us for problems. They're not very helpful and the maintenance people only fix one problem out of the few you have, so you have to keep going back to get them to fix the other stuff. Our apartment was "newly renovated" and when we moved in here, the garbage disposal broke. Then the water heater broke (I had to go to my boyfriend's to take showers for 3 days, which was really gross). Then when it got cold, the heat pump wasn't working properly. Then my brand new bathroom sink broke in the plugged up position because it wasn't put together right in the first place. So for 3 days I had to use my roommate's sink because mine was full of water. My toilet thumps when you get off of it but they haven't fixed that yet. Then the oven light went out and it's impossible to fix. The fitness room equipment is always broken and it takes them weeks to fix it. There's kids everywhere unsupervised and I can hear babies crying all the time next door. I don't mind kids, but someone else might. We have our own washer and dryer but pass by the laundry facility and 2 of the machines have been broken for weeks. Definitely glad we're getting out of here.
