I lived in New Centre Commons for a year, and was not impressed. The office employees were always kind and prompt on maintenance complaints. The floorplan in the one bedroom apartment only allowed for one row of three windows, so it was usually dark and musty. There was a massive mold problem in my apartment. Everything that water touched, I had to clean constantly, including the refrigerator and linolium floor. Cleaning was something that was needed an absurd amount of time anyway, though I never felt it did any good. I was always sick from it. Upkeep was not very good, either. Things broke a lot, though they always fixed what needed fixing. Many times the police were called by various tenants because of someone lurking around or trying to break into places. Tenants were roudy; I could tell that a lot of partying went on due to noise and beer cans/bottles and sometimes needles lying around outside on weekends. I was scared living there. It's just not clean and it's not safe.
