This was my first apartment ever. I was a student at the time and didn't know much about the area. I learned really fast. There were bugs everywhere, my dishwasher broke and flooded my apartment and the one below me. My neighbor would come home drunk all the time and think our apartment was his. It was really scary when at 3am someone is fighting with your door knob to get into your apartment.
The neighbors above us had a dog which they always left on their balcony. It peed and pooped up there, which of course ran down to our balcony. When we complained to managment, nothing was done.
Maintenace would come in to fix things and be very disrespectful of our personal belongings.
And our water bill "mysteriously" increased each month. I'm sorry, but no 2 bedroom apartment should have a $50 water bill every two months.
I've lived in other apartments since this and have never had an experience as bad. I really don't think it would be possible.
