I must admit, that after my previous statement (entitled insert profanity here) things are slowly starting to get better. I really never had any beef with management. They do what they can with what they have. Let's give them credit for that. Yes, we all may have liked Maggie, but she was more friend material than management material. And as far as Christine went, well I still haven't figured out what planet she was from. Parking is still an issue. I've made some suggestions to Hope about that and I feel certain she is trying to improve it. Also, with 2 courtesy officers, calls are answered quicker which is a good thing. I still think we need a guard shack where EVERYONE checks in AND tenant/guest parking passes or something. The trash issue..well that's tenants fault. Most everyone in here is a college student who parties all weekend and throws there beer can and burger wrappers where ever they please. Maintenance picks up the trash but think about it...that just slows them down from responding to a legitimate maintenance issue. Noise is still my biggest complaint. These buildings have no insulation at all. People do not respect other peoples quiet times and feel they can make noise at all hours because they are in their own "home". There's really no use complaining because even though the office does issue noise complaint notices, most people blow it off. Labor Day weekend was a bad time around the pool. People blocked the mailroom entrance with garbage cans so you couldn't get in to check your mail. I think if people want to have a pool party, they should clear it with the office 1st and be responsible for cleaning around the pool. If they don't then charge them for the cleaning. That would deter a lot of the problems. I don't know....just suggestions. All in all, it IS SLOWLY getting better. But we can't hold the office soley acountable for all of our concerns. As a community, we need to watch out for one anothers property, respect eachother and our privacy and REPORT anything that we find negative or have a problem with so that the office CAN improve it. Things won't change over night, but in time they can if we all just speak up once in a while. And throw your own trash away for Christ sakes! Act like an adult!
