When I first moved to the complex....I thought, nice people, affordable price, seclusion....within the past year my thoughts have drastically changed! I absolutely hate coming home now. The grounds have not been kept up prior to this week. The hedges had become jungles and grass had become savannahs. Through out the whole winter season, the grass in front of my building was a muddy ditch [which overflows til this day whenever it rains] due to some type of construction that wasn't fully cleaned up [maintence cannt do its job if they are not funded by the office]. Large trees have fallen onto some apartments and have rested there for months.I have had my share of druken music...loud college students [even though I am one myself, I seem to be the only one who doesn't treat the complex like dorms]...fights in the parking lot....and I do fear that my car isn't safe due to more than a few break ins and repeat thefts for some residents.

THE TRASH- this is what took me and all of the other residents that I have spoken with to the edge....the trash infront of my complex [as in, when I open my blinds this is what is in my direct view] was an unbelievable 13ft high and growing....full of trash from AT LEAST 2 weeks ago. It was disgusting...couches, human waste, old food....and believe me, I smelled every bit of it everytime I walked to my car. It had gotten so bad that it had begun to overflow onto the pavement. Oh, and this is what prompted me to let future residents know about ol' Ashton Oaks....when I confronted the office with the issue their response was...[and I quote]"What trash' The trash is being taken care of right now"
-Hmmm...I don't know... maybe that oozing volcano of trash that has become a landmark in front of my apartment! I was livid. However, I do commend them on cleaning it up after A MONTH!!!

10/2/07-
To add to all of this, it has now been 53 days and I still have not gotten my $200.00 deposit. Calling Julie Norris (407-654-6036) down in Florida has gotten no results. I have just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if no response, I guess I'll have to go to small claims.

I've been out of Ashton Oaks for almost two months now and I'm still having headaches from their parent company, Bridlewood Realty. Do Not Move Here!!!

I actually considered living here but once i saw the trash and the grassy jungle on a visit through the neighborhood, I quickly changed my mind! I actually have friends who live here and hate it. They complain about Ashton Oaks at least every other day. To coincide with above, look elsewhere
