I have lived in Brandemere Apartments for the past 4 years. I moved in when I began graduate school in 1999. In the beginning, Brandemere was a great place to live. The apartment was great with a nice screened in porch and all of my neighbors were very kind and respectful. Since the change in management, which occurred, I think, about 2 years ago or so, Brandemere has been going steadily down hill. The new management staff is not the least big helpful. In addition to being unfriendly, they are completely uninterested in offering any assistance to their long-term tenants. When I call for maintenance, it always takes at least 3 calls before what needs to be done is completed. Also, as a true slap in the face, there are advertisements all over the complex quoting a rental rate over $100 less than the one I am currently paying. When I asked if I could benefit from this new rate, I was rudely refused. My current neighbors are loud and disrespectful. The appearance of the apartments is no longer clean and neat. I believe this has everything to do with the people who now live in Brandemere and the inability of the management staff to have maintenance do anything. Every night I am subjected to loud pounding music, blaring car horns, screaming matches across the hall, and various other distractions. My complaints to management have gone unanswered. I hate being at my apartment, it is absolutely miserable. I am leaving as soon as my lease runs out. I would not recommend that anyone live in Brandemere. It has turned into a complete nightmare for me. Thank you for listening, and I hope this helps!
