I was so excited about moving into my new spacious apartment with a screened in porch. On move-in day they tried to charge me a prorated fee for one day after the leasing manager said she would waive it since my lease ended and I had to be out and they had not completed painting as scheduled! Then they switched the floorplan that I had originally viewed and put a deposit on. The apartment that I ended up with because nothing else would be available until the end of the month had a living room and hallway with deep sloping which caused me to violently stumble whenever I walked in the house with shoes on. This repeated abrupt jolting of my body eventually caused me to have back spasms. The door leading onto my coveted screened in porch opened outward into the livingroom cutting the space down to half the size'

As if that wasn't bad enough, I am leaving with my son when my eye catches something moving on the stairs. It was a cooper head snake! I rush back in and call the office when I return the snake has gotten onto the landing. Maintenance arrives to sarcastically explain that I am the one living in the snakes natural habitat and that the only recourse to the problem was for me to be aware of my surroundings since a bite from a cooper head could kill me before help arrives. and let's not talk about the ants!!!! or the person that smoked outside my door every night and left their butts for me to sweep up..cause maintenance sure wasn't going to. I don't believe I ever saw the landings been cleaned in the entire year that I lived there.

The only renovation they made was to add siding and put on new shingles..mind you the workers started at 7am..hammering, shouting, throwing garbage all over the back slope leading to the woodland and the creek..Oh, I forgot they did pave parts of the parking lot due to the fact that there was deep holes and loose gravel wrecking havoc on your car.

I could go on forever, but I digress. However, be very meticulous when moving out. I made the mistake of leaving without doing a walk thru because the young lady in the office told me that she was the only one there and could leave at the time but, not to worry as soon as her relief came she would complete the walk thru and send me the sheet to sign and return. Needless to say I never got it and when I called to inquire I was told that everything was in order. I received a call from a collection agency seven months later stating that I owed $400 in move out charges. I am still corresponding with these people, very unsuccessfully since the staff keep changing, to tell me what the charges are for and they have yet to respond I am slways being told that someone wil get back to me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!

The upgrades that were made were made to make the place look nicer but I guess you just can't make all the ungrateful people in the world happy and it's not maitenances job to pick up eveyone's trash they are not trash men.
