I have lived at the complex two years and like most people I got caught up in outside appearances. My apartment was brand new when I moved in and you can tell that the apartments were thrown up quick. The counters are coming apart from the wall and there are cracks in the walls. Outside air comes in from everywhere (the door, all the windows). So be prepared to pay Duke Power well. There are cheap appliances for example all of the knobs have came off my sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. You also better lock in a lease for a minute because my rent for a 1 bedroom has went up from $495 w/o paying water to $530 w/ paying water (which is the same special that new residents received (some special)). I had no complaints and no late rent payments but after two years my rent went up $35 plus water. I don't feel the apartment is worth that much. The apartments are small. There is no walk in closets or storage spots. There are no amenities other than the fitness center. The front door does not lock properly and as a matter of fact my friend got locked out of her apartment and the officer on duty popped the lock with a credit card. That tells you how safe the doors are. The layout of the parking is awful and you better keep checking as you back out because the traffic flows fast in and out. You hear your neighbor?s conversations like they are your own. I had much higher expectation for this place but I?m glad I?m going. I would recommend the place for a short stay but it really is not worth the price for anything longer.
