Although I was originally pleased when I first moved here, I would advise anyone that is checking out various apartements-DO NOT MOVE HERE! I have a laundry list of concerns with this complex. First, maintanance is awful! When you have a repair, it takes several calls to get a response and then several days and some times weeks to get the repair made. Countryside Villa sits in front of Pine Valley Apartments, which is full of section 8 subsized or rent free tenants. You can not get to Pine Valley unless you come through Coutnryside Villa. There are so many teenagers hanging out and what appears to be a great deal of gang activity from individuals that live in Pine Valley but hang out in Countryside Villa. This is not a place to raise a fmily! A great deal of adults in the complex do not keep an eye on their children. The children are all over the place with no supervision. Children play in the parking lot even though there is a designated play area and as a result, kids are climbing on individuals' cars. Where are their parents' The grounds are littered with trash and when management is alerted, an excuse is given. I am consistently hearing loud music in the wee hours of the morning. Although the apartments are not expensive, and they are roomy, I'd rather pay a little more and have peace and quiet. There are some repairs that are needed to the outside that makes the entire complex look bad. I have seen more and more police here in the past couple of months responding to a couple of fights. My lease is coming up and I will not be renewing it! If you are smart, you will stay away, especially if you are expecting a decent place to live!
