I rented from Crowne Oaks for 8 months in 1998, and found the experience to be a positive one. The two bedroom unit that I rented was one of the largest that I?ve ever seen, with large bedrooms, plenty of closet space.



Positives:

1) Is a gated community.

2) Has water specifically intended for washing cars.

3) Upscale community. Good neighbors.



Negatives:

1) Apartment wasn?t clean when I initially moved in. In addition, several light bulbs needed to be replaced. All of this should have been taken care of prior to move in.

2) Rents at that time were very expensive, so I'd suggest some comparison shopping before making a decision.

3) The complex required a 60 day notice to vacate. I don't know of anyone (especially a renter) that can plan their life out 60 days in advance. I can only guess that the 60 days are a device used to steal a renters' deposit.
