When I moved here I was a student. I've graduated now and when my lease is up I'm gone. Since I've been here, my apartment has flooded several times causing mildew. Now when it rains really hard I just expect my stuff to get wet. My neighbors house was broken into and she was assulted. Another guy across the street's house was broken into and he was assulted. And yes being that we are a student community, there are loud parties. When I complain to the office or the security officer I either get no call back (from a pager) or Lisa, the manager says she will take care of it, but nothing is done. Even when my apartment floods all the time they always promise it will be the last time but it always happens again. For the money it is definatly not worth it. It's gotten to the point that when I need something I have to ask the maintenace guys, not the office staff because that's who does everything. Save your money, rent a house or a condo somewhere that is more responsive to problems.
