I called maintenance my first night at Springhouse. Since that time in my year lease I called about anything and everything that could have broken - I have over 15-20 maintenance related problems including the fridge, blinds, doors, windows (no screens), windows (no open), door lock, closets unhinged, more fridge, outlet, pilot light (but I've learned to fix this myself over the course of a dozen problems), heat, and bugs. This place is very poorly built and a pain in the butt with everything breaking continuously.

EXACTLY. Maintainance has been this way on and off -mostly off- for the last 10 years. Since Aimco came in and took it over it has gotten 10 times worse. I remember back when the Forest Ridge thing was all over the news, they took the Aimco sign down from out front and hid it over near the laundry at the back of the office. I wanted to go grab it and put it back in the ground upside down so bad but, someone begged me not to.>:( I should have done it anyway. I don't know who they have in charge of maintance right now whether it's Randy or James but, they both seem to act like they have their heads up their asses. James for one couldn't find his ass in a dark apartment with both hands and a flashlight and Randy seems to have taken up the role of grounds keeper. I thought part of being on a maintainance team was to move up through the ranks, not the other way around. Also if you want to try living here, don't bother reporting anything complaint or otherwise for it will not get done. You may just have to walk up to the office and even then they'll act annoyed that you even bothered to make an apearance. This really is a sucky place to live.

why are u complaining 20yrsatSH. Why dont u move? Hell.. u have been there for 20 ------- years. You must be on section 8. classic.. well good luck on finding a new apartment when that program gets removed from Springhouse... Loser
