My sister lived there for six months and had a horrible experience! She didn't put in a "Proper Notice" thinking it was a 1 month notice instead of 2 month. Well she found someone to move into the apartment the following month sacrifricing a few hundred dollars and was suppose to receive what was left of her deposit. She waited about 5 weeks and called about her deposit and was then informed that she had a late fee and the new tenant didn't move in until two weeks after my sister moved out. She was NEVER informed about any of this information and they notified collections. They do NOT have good management at all! They are very LAZY at informing their tenants. None of this would have happened if they would have been clear and notified her BEFORE the new tenant had moved in. They ended up screwing over my sister out hundreds of dollars. If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to live this is also a bad recommendation. There are parties every weekend and junk is always left in the hallways for days. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I totally agree. I lived there for a couple of years and had to put up with poor management practices, child sexual abusers as tenants, drunks, parties, a guy walking around with a butcher knife kicking the walls in and inexperienced managers. Really a bad place to live. Unless your a college student with partying on your mind then this is the place for you!

I totally agree Goldmark isn't the best management company, but it was your sister's responsibility to read her lease to determine the notice policy. "Most" landlords require 60-day notices nowadays. If she was moving out early, than she should've taken care of any likely rent upfront to avoid possible late fees. They should've attempted to call her about the owed rent, but once a tenant turns over keys, they're technically ending their relationship with the landlord.
