This building has so much character and potential, it?s too bad the owners don?t take care of it. Fortunately the apartment I rented did not have any major problems when I moved in, because I quickly learned there is NO rush on any kind of maintenance requests. Since the building still has radiators, you, as a tennant have no control over your heat. (I mean, if the heat is even turned on or not). So, in the spring and fall when the temps are changing outside.... be sure you have a space heater or something, because it gets pretty cold inside!! The high point of the building, is the charm of old woodwork and high ceilings. It also has an elevator, which is nice.... that is, when it?s in working order. Also, there is a freight elevator, so moving in and out is great!!
A last note, parking is extra!! and if you haven?t been downtown lately, you almost need a spot. There is no where to park on the street.
