For the price of the apartments, you'd think they would be better kept up, ran, and friendly.

The parking lot was in ruins. If you have a guest over, they have to walk about 2 blocks from the always full visitor parking spots. Parking lot is low lit and looks very dangerous.

The swimming pools aren't kept up very good. Had to wait until August of 2004 to be able to swim that summer because they didn't get it going until then.

The appliances in the apartment are a good 20-30 years old and show it. The shower drain couldn't keep up with the water coming out.

The window frame was no longer a brown wood look, but rather, black.

When we first moved in, we documented a list of EVERYTHING that was wrong. We didn't want to get shafted when we left. However, today was when the lease was up. When we made our list, we missed a window screen that had a 1/4" hole in it. So we have to buy a new screen. With the oven, they told us that we were supposed to take it APART to clean it. Like literally unscrew parts and clean under/in them. The type of stuff that voids your warranty. So we got charged for that. We also accidentally left CLEANING SUPPLIES in one of the cabinets. They claimed that since they were there, that we didn't wipe them down. Take that onto the bill. For the price we paid for this 2 bedroom apartment ($640) we should haven't been shafted like this.

Another complaint is that the people below us constantly had their music turned extremely up and had parties going on past midnight. The lease specifically states no loud noise after 10pm. We called it in, and it took them over and hour to go tell them to turn it down. Supposedly, after talking with them more than twice, they are supposed to get evicted, which never happened.

When stuff would go wrong (constantly), it took management weeks to come fix it (illegal...). There were also insects all over that they supposedly "exterminate yearly", but it didn't seem that way.

These people do not deserve your money. Avoid them at all costs.
