Apartment is priced right but the landlords don't give much privacy.

They walked right in when I was in the middle of taking a shower to show the apartment a couple weeks before I moved. I wasn't too impressed.

There is a high level of noise and the washers and dryers don't work too well. The clothes are always damp after being in the dryer and the washer leaks water all over the floor.

There are a lot of low income people in the building with noisy unruly kids. There is no security system so anyone can come and go at any hour.

Someone once stole my laundry detergent when I was doing laundry. You can't leave your laundry unattended at all.

A fire almost started in my apartment too. Smoke started rolling out of my fuse box and my bathroom plug-ins quit working. My phone jack was also broken and the cord wouldn't stay in the wall.

My air conditioner was old and it would constantly freeze up and would never keep the room cold. The fridge was the old fashioned kind of fridge with grills in it. It was loud enough to wake the dead and I had a hard time getting used to it to get a decent night's sleep.

Thats being discriminative and judgemental.. saying alot of low income people with unruly kids in the building, dont you think?? I mean come on.. if you are so HIGH AND MIGHTY why are you living in Landmark Estates the dump of dumps on the nice south side of GF?? lol stupid comment coming from someone who is NO better than the next person!!!!

I lived there for 3 years. It was not bad in 2000 when I moved in. Then the landlords (an elderly couple) left and the new landlords were awful. I don't know what happened after I got out of there in 2004 but, when I left that place spotless they tried to charge me for not cleaning the windows. As if they ever cleaned them if you didn't! As I left I took photos of the filthy windows in the apartment they were letting someone move into that very weekend. The windows were smeared and filthy. They were awful and I still never got my deposit back 5 years later.
