I have lived at Park Place Apts for the last year and a half. I really wish that I would have moved out when I had the chance to. There are some pros to living here such as, the close distance to UND. (But that is really it) The amount for rent that they currently charge is not worth it. It looks very rundown and management loves to raise rent as well as landury (it is $1.50 to wash and a $1.50 to dry) with little notice. Another note about the landury facilities- they are terrible...the dryers will not dry the clothes. The walls are very thin and people like to throw parties (it is not too bad if you have a fan on to drown out the noise). Parking is terrible. There is only one spot per apt and the parking lot is always full. The doors getting into the building do not lock. Many solicitors have come into the buildings since I have live here. I have complained many times to management and they have not done a thing about it. Some of the solicitors do not want to leave and have even tried getting in to my apartment. It suprises me that management dispite telling them this have not done a thing. Overall, I would pay a little more a month living somewhere else where I feel safe and where there is a better atmosphere.

As requested, management posted no soliciting signs and contacted the sales company immediately that was soliciting and requested that they no longer come on the property. This was done immediatley, but unfortunately we can not stop every person coming into the building, since is is not a controlled access building. Also, if tenants have noticed problems with neighbors or laundry rooms they need to notify management, or we are unaware that there may be a problem that needs addressing.
