During my transferring from my Texas college to school at UND, I got in a quick fix to move into a close apartment because my car broke down! I chose Park Place for their close proximity to campus. Little did I suspect that even the close ness would be a miserable journey in the freezing winter-which lasts from late October to April!

That aside, the apartment complex was pretty lousy. The carpet was old and musty. The common areas wer ein disrepair, and the laundry machines were really old, cost a lot, and didn't work well. The management was also really bad about fixing things. The grounds also sucked with ground hogs living in holes and tunnels right underneath most of people's patios. I thought it was cute at first, but afterwards, it was like this company allowed these rats to just do as they would! Pretty lousy overall. They never mowed the grass and there was always trash everywhere. Maybe, I just noticed it all more because of my constant walking.

My apartment also sucked. The windows didn't work well and the place always seemed to smell really bad. The walls are also paper thin and you could hear everything. Also, at times, you could hear water running in the ceiling for some reason-which I could never place.

I would not recommend this place at all. The management is poor, the units small and smelly, and the grounds really bad. UND campus housing, as lousy as that is, is much better than Park Place. If you want to do yourself a huge disservice or punish yourself for some reason, then this is the place for you! If you want the advice of someone who made the sorry ,mistake to live here for a year, then listen to me!

i think this girl is a rich snobby girl that needs everything to be so neat and she always says cute and if she transferred from texas to north dakota you think she would realize what she was doing and that it does get cold in the midwest especially in grand forks north dakota

She does not sound snobby. I lived there and the apartments are truly horrible. There are no ammenities and they still charge $600 plus. Not even a dishwasher. They are not worth the money.
