The layout of these apartments are rediculous. The kitchen has one strip of cupboards that contain the fridge and stove. No storage and barely room for a small table and 2 chairs. The cupboards and countertop were very old and worn. The bottoms were sagging so everything slid to the middle. The kitchen sink leaked the entire time so mold grew in the cupboard no matter how hard we tried to keep it clean and no one would come to fix it. The flooring throughout the apartment was terrible. Linoleum was tacked down with nails where it was ripped and the carpet was very stained and worn. The living room had a fireplace in an awkward place so furniture could never be situated quite right. The bedrooms were decent size, however, the closets were a different story. One bedroom closet contains the water heater, so only 1/3 of the space is available for clothes. Only two other closets in the apartment-bathroom and kitchen. No room for storage units of any type. Smoking is allowed in the units and I could smell the neighbors smoking through the walls. The worst thing about this complex was the management. It was always difficult to get someone on the phone and when you went to the office, they were disrespectful and rude. One could stand in there for 20 min. before someone came out of the back room to help you. Once they do come out, they act like you're bothering them. There was only one person I dealt with that was pleasant and professional. I would not reccommend renting from Goldmark. They are lazy and rude.

I agree with this posting. Goldmark as a whole is not bad. After moving out of Stanford Court, I moved into another Goldmark property in Fargo. It's the Complex Management that are horable. I have had no problems what-so-ever here in Fargo.

I get worried when I read your remarks, so where is the best rental when you are going to the UND?
