My living experience at the Warehouse Apartments has been nothing less than enjoyable. From the moment I looked at the apartment I was about to rent last spring, I was already pleased. My friend who accompanied me on the tour was jealous of my new apartment, compared to the generic one she had rented for the coming year. The high ceilings, cherry wood cabinets, and large windows add unique and trendy character to the apartments. I love the wide open feel of every room. The parking spots outside are more than adequate and abundant in availablitity. The optional under ground parking and outside garages have worked well for many tenants too. As far as laundry goes, they are shared and coin operated, but never occupied when I need to use them and work fine, which I greatly appreciate.
The new manager that I have worked with has been more the helpful. She has been accommodating, prompt to answer questions, and warm in demeanor. My only regret is that I have to leave to move out of state. The dread I felt about the complications of moving out were put at ease after working with her, making the end of my stay very pleasant.
The apartments are affordable and definitely worth the money, considering they are no more expensive than other apartments in grand forks. You definitely get an apartment with more originality than anywhere else in town. Utilities are in the rent, besides the excel energy bill, which was always low for us, keeping our total expenses low and keeping us happy.
Finally, a little personal anecdote that puts the price of renting these apartments in perspective: In his attempts to save money, my brother lives in a far from glamourous house in Grand Forks with roommates. He, being an economically knowledgeable and money savvy person, never thinks any of my purchases are worth the price. However, he always says these apartments are "uncommonly cool and actually worth the money." Ahh...one decision I have made finally receives his kudos. Cheers.
