I will never live in an apartment again.

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
So I lived in WHP when it first opened back in 2004...and my roommate and I had an absolutely miserable experience overall. Yes, the walls are paper thin, and my RM was CONSTANTLY complaining about hearing our next door neighbors alarm clock every morning. Not to mention the train every hour (her room backed up to the tracks). My complaint is that the management (whoever it was at the time--I'm not sure if its changed) had absolutely no respect for us whatsoever. He made me feel very uncomfortable and one time he actually came into my apartment (the leasing office was located in the apartment below us at the time) right after i had gotten out of the shower--I had no idea he was in there until he knocked on my bedroom door and said "Maintenance!" When I opened the door in my robe he had the creepiest look on his face and said he had received a noise complaint and that my music was too loud. Later, my roommate, her father and I sat down to have a "chat" about this incident and he claimed that noise complaints are considered emergencies and he has every right to enter my apartment. What a crock! Needless to say we were out before our lease was up. It's really unfortunate that the management is so disrespectful because these apartments were in a great location, affordable, and came with W/D in the units. I wanted to like these apartments, but the management ruined it for me.
