I have a review on here from about a year ago, when I had first moved in. I still like it for the most part, but there are a couple of things that I have found drive me nuts, so beware if they are a big deal to you:

First, the thing with the sawed off doors. They did that in my building as well, and with all the heavy rains we've been having I'm sure the first floor apartments have to be flooding. I'm on the 3rd floor, so it's more of a nuisance for me to have to walk through an inch of water to get to the door in the mornings. However, I don't know that there are very many other things they could have done to fix the problem of the non-opening doors in the winter - it must have been a drainage issue that the construction company should have forseen. I'm sure they will get it taken care of soon, as it looks very very trashy.

Also, you pretty much have to get dish network here, as you can't get cox cable. I have had more freaking problems with DN in the time I've lived here with reception and receiver problems. It's incredibly annoying.

Overall, I'd recommend it for the price and especially if you must live in LaVista for some reason. It's pretty quiet, management is pretty nice, the the apartments are nice.

I've lived here for almost 2 years myself and I love them too! As with you though, I am on the third floor which may cut-back on noise. I also have no complaints though! You said it all!
