The Pointe - Overall Pretty Good

Overall this is a pretty nice place to live. The apartments themselves are good size, newer, and laid out nicely. The grounds are kept up in good shape. Managers is usually pretty helpful. They have been through quite a few office staff in the time I have been here, but for the most part have always been helpful and are usually pleasant. (Are two exceptions to this on the office staff though.
Maintenance however, is an entirely different story. They are slow to respond to anything and once they do respond, don't think it will be fixed the first time, plan at least two or three visits. I happened to be home once and the guy spent more time trying to explain to me how I could have fixed it myself than he did actually fixing my door. They have also left the doors unlocked numerous times in the apartment after calls (and after two break-ins in the building). Oh, and don't expect to have ice cleared ever, just use caution when walking!
All in all, the complex is nice and in a great location. I would recommend it, but at the same time would recommend price shopping (rent is somewhat pricey compared to comparable places) if you are not in dire need of the ammenities, namely the fitness center and pools.
