buy a house instead

We lived there for a year. The floor plan is nice and big, that is the only upside to living there. For the amount of money you pay you could get a nice size house. The buildings were cheaply constructed, they over spaced the floor joists, they did not use enough sound deadning materials, so you can hear your neighbors at all hours of the day. The staff is rude and not helpful, they never seem to care about your problem and rarely have an acceptable solution. The manager is never available and yet she is the only person who can help with even a simple question. When she is available she will shrug you off for some outragous excuse. There had been multiple times when we would come home only to find that maintenance had been in our apartment without notifying us or asking for our permission. The straw that broke the camels back was when we found mold in our apartment and their solution was to just clean the carpet, being in maintenance and construction I know for a fact that you have to replace all affected materials to totally eliminate the problem. The pointe apartments are not concerned about satisfied tenants, their only concerned with taking your money.
