We are professional workers with no children living at home and lead an extremely quiet life. If you want to tip-toe every second of the day and not sneeze without having a complaint from your neighbors, then this place is for you. Our neighbors complained that we were making loud noises when we were never there and then management had the audacity to remind us of quiet hours and that if it happened again, they would have to write us up. This coming from a neighbor whose daughter slammed doors and screamed every morning before school.

Just an FYI, unless you want your security deposit refunded back to you, make sure you pull out and clean behind the refrigerator, washer/dryer, and stove before you move out because they will charge you a cleaning fee.

Management at SWV is poor at best. I would look elsewhere.

Wow, we lived there for 18 months and it was perfect. Maybe when Jennifer left (after we bought a home) things changed.

Maybe the DINK family were wrongly accused, and maybe they lived on the other side of the inconsiderate noisemakers I have to contend with. These people have a screaming kid, stomp and run throughout the place constantly, slam their doors, and whenever they are home there is a continuous loud thumping noise at regular intervals that I can't even imagine the cause of. We have complained to management on several occasions, but they simply don't seem to care; or at least it hasn't produced any results. In fact, I believe management sides with the noisy people and considers anybody who complains to be an annoyance! That, coupled with the constant traffic from the adjacent 96th street make this the absolute noisiest place we've ever lived. If you value your right to peace and quiet and want to avoid inconsiderate neighbors and management, look elsewhere. The amount of rent they charge is criminal for what we've had to suffer though.
