I have had better

I originally stayed here because of the location and price. The apartment is decent size but there is very little storage space. The walls are very thin and you can clearly hear everything in the adjoining apartments. The windows are poorly installed with huge gaps that allow a lot of cold air in. While I was there I had one major problem. The hot water heater in the laundry room next to my apartment broke and flooded my apartment. This destroyed thousands of dollars worth of my personal possessions. While my insurance provided some assistant, the apartment complex was not helpful at all. They refused to compensate me in any way for the damage that I felt they caused. I couldn??t stay in my apartment for 4 days while it was drying out and they wouldn??t even take those days off my rent. When I wanted to be released from my lease because of this incident they threatened to sue me for the remaining rent. When I finally was able to move out, I gave my notice on the 5th of the month and they are trying to charge me for an extra month because I didn??t have my notice in by the 3rd.
