The apartment complex is not bad. Just very cheaply made. I moved from the Lexington Ridge apartments so I am comparing them with the Lexington Ridge apartments. Beware, read the print. This complex does not have a microwave like a lot of apartment complexes. I did not notice that until I moved in, so I had to dig my small microwave out of the garage and put it on top of the refrigerator. Not a big deal. Just didn't notice until after I moved in. I also miss having an automatic ice maker. also beware. with the construction you may have to walk in mud to get to your car. On Memorial day the workers did not clean off the side walks. Nothing but mud to walk in. However the next day a worker wearing a Black Sand Shirt was cleaning the side walks. He told me the workers did not not finish there job the day before. So I am sure it was not the apartment complex fault. Also don't be surprised if you see weird things around here. Last week I saw two teenagers crawling out of the trash can. Have not quite figured out why they were in the trash can with the lid closed. Seems pretty stinky and gross. They got out and walked over by Hy Vee. It is really going to be convenient when the mail boxes get moved near the club house. Right now the mail boxes are near our apartment. I am not thrilled to have to take time out of my day to go two or three blocks to get my mail. I guess my day is busy enough, I would rather the mail boxes stayed put near the apartments. I was told the pool would open in June. Wow, are they sure of that' Looks like they have quite aways to go. Maybe more like next June of 2008. As far as Management. The nice young girl who works in the office is very nice. The main male manager has some things to learn about being professional. Maybe he is new at his job so we need to give him a break, and I won't say more about that subject. Over all the place has good quality's. The heat and water are paid for and I love the cable service and internet they provide at a reasonable cost. I do miss the channels on road runner thou.
