Please don't waste you money with the internet service black Sand apartments have. They are so slow. I even upgraded mine. Not worth doing. Speed so slow. Since they don't offer Road Runner, just go with Windstream. I have bought my own place now so I have moved. I now have a faster internet provider and it is so nice to have my full cable stations back. If you have any problems with Mr. Manager being slow about taking care of things, just call the main office in Michigan. When I first moved in I was getting the run around about getting a garage. I finally called the home office and wow. I got my garage right away. The closing on my house was also delayed. I found out later that Mr. Manager did not respond to the underwriter to verify I was a good renter right away. I was gone in California due to the passing of my father so I was unaware Mr. manager of the black Sand apartments was delaying my closing. Otherwise I would of called the home office. Anway, the apartments are great for anyone on a budget. The heat is paid in the winter. Electric is very cheap and they provide washer and dryers. Just don't forget to buy a microwave if you don't already have one. Also, be prepared to stock up on vacume bags,if you don't have a bagless vacume. The carpets are very cheap and all it fills your vacume bag everytime you vacume. This is not the worst place to live for a decent price, however, if you really want a nice place to live, I would recomend the Lexington Ridge apartments. They are so nice, and you even get your mail inside as you are going to your apartment.
