I lived in a similar complex owned by the same company in La Vista before moving into Blacksand in Lincoln. From the first day I could tell everything about this place was rushed. There are rocks underneth the laminate flooring and caulk all over the floors due to sloppy workmanship in the kitchen and bathroom. Like most apartments, the walls are EXTREMELY thin and uninsulated, so you can hear your neighbors day or night and even join their conversations if you want to. The worst thing about this complex in the management. In La Vista, at Brentwood Park Apartments, they were very friendly and professional, but here, not so much. The head manager, Quincy Cooper, is very rude. She even tried accusing me of leaving a bike in the corridor and sent me a written warning, I don't even own a bike!! When I called to resolve the issue, she would not return my call until I finally contacted her and she treated me like a criminal. If you get a first floor apt. be ready to see spiders the size of silver dollars on a regular basis, along with other beetles and crickets due to the huge gaps in the threshholds of all the doors in the buildings. Just save your money and rent cheeper to buy a house in the future.
