Low income housing, enough said. After my wife and I moved out we were hoping for our deposit back. Instead we received a letter saying we owed them for pet rent and that they would need to replace the carpet after we had already paid the deposit plus the non-refundable pet deposit. We had not received any notice of pet rent needing to be paid. The managers are always crabby as well as the maintenance man. The carpet should??ve been replaced before we moved in because the prior tenants had pets. The windows leak and you can hear through the floor. We lived in the north apartments and the neighbors were mostly decent there but if you live in the southern buildings good luck, kids playing football in the front and pet droppings. On the bright side, cheap and decent location but I did say cheap.
