I lived in Claremont for 4 and a half years while going to school at UNL from August of 2003 till July of 2007. While it did have its woes and headaches. You can do laundry here but its expensive the dryers and washers are really not that much better than the dorms. I remember one time my clothes didn't go though the spin cycle and I had to drive back to Omaha with sopping wet clothes to do laundry at my house instead. That spelled the end of my doing laundry there. I would probably recommend it though if your young, upbeat, and like to party. The location is absolutely great. Don't get a parking pass, you won't need it, just walk to class, or better yet get a bike. The structure of the apartment it ok. It feels a little old even though its not because I don't think its kept up very well. The amenities, if your into that, are pretty poor. The apartment are decent and pretty spacious for a dirt cheap price, but everything is made pretty cheaply. We had many problems things just not working and several times they maintenance staff was completely unreliable. While I was there the place went though I believe 3 apartment managers. Two of which I wasn't impressed at all with. The place should be in pretty good hands now though in terms of management, and maintenance. The only other big problem I encountered was parking. If you work late and come back at night you'll probably need to park in Bangladesh. Especially on Friday and Saturday night but there are even problems with this on the weekdays. Overall though this place it worth is for the location and the atmosphere, not bad at all. I would recommend it only if your a student going to UNL, a big husker sports fan and not concerned about living fancy. Get on the managements good side and you should get along alright
