Unless you like cheaply built apartments and constant noise and crime...NEVER LIVE HERE

College Park preys on young people who are moving into their first apartment. I lived there from August 2004 to April 2006. During that time I had the driver side mirror bashed off my car (I know it was not an accident because I was parked in a place where no one could park next to the driver side.) My sister s car was side swiped while parked in the parking lot as well. Management did nothing to prevent this, even though I asked multiple times to have cameras installed to catch vandals. The first year I lived there, the neighbors below us were criminals. We witnessed them assaulting other tenets not once, but twice. Golf clubs and bats were used in the fights that occurred in the parking lot outside their apartment. Noise was a constant problem you can hear anything going on in the rooms next to you, above you, and below you. Trying to make noise complaints involved calling some corporate office, and usually nothing was ever done. I literally could not sleep on many nights because of parties in the apartments around us. The second year I lived there someone fire-bombed a car, which resulted in a lot of damage to surrounding cars. Everything there was cheap. The landscaping was a joke. People would deliberately break the small trees, and by the time I moved out, most of the trees were dead, the grass ruined, and in its place was mud. You can find much better places to live in Lincoln for the same amount of money or less. Do not rent here. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
