I have lived at C.H. for 2 years and have had a positive experience. The maintenance staff is wonderful!! They are prompt, courteous and do a great job. They always ask how I'm doing, and if there are any maintenance problems in my apartment when they see me. (When they did their semi-annual inspections, the maintenance tech noticed that my cupboards were worn, and replaced them for me the next day!!) I thought that was GREAT customer service!!! The facilities are nice and everything is really clean. I live on ground level, and live alone, and have always felt safe. I couldn't ask for better neighbors!! (Of course, sometimes there are a couple of bad apples, but that's to be expected. If there are ever any problems, the office is great at handling it and they will not tolerate inconsiderate tenants. I believe they have a "3 strikes your out" system.) The landscaping is wonderful and the contractor's they hire are professional and courteous.

They allow cats, but I sometimes get the impression they would perfer to not have them. They ask for a pretty steep cat deposit (some of it non-refundable) and they tack up your rent every month, per cat. They also require renter's insurance policy as well as extensive vet papers, which is understandable. However, I was once told by another tenant that a leasing agent informed her that she would need to get all of her cat's claws de-clawed (BACK ONES,TOO!!), otherwise they would be evicted!! Of course, when asking the Property Manager about this, they said that was not true.

The office staff is nice. There tends to be a problem with turn-over, which isn't always a good sign. (Maybe working there as opposed to living there is worse.) But for the most part, I haven't had a problem with it.

I am buying a house and that is the only reason I am leaving. I would move back in a heart beat and am sad to say good-bye as this community has become my 'home'. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a clean, professional, maintenance friendly environment!!!!
